IoD Chairman Patrick Macdonald comment on the death of the Duke of Edinburgh:
It is with great sadness that we mourn the loss of HRH The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
He was a tireless and respected voice advocating for Britain all over the world, as well as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
The thoughts of the IoD and all our members are with Her Majesty the Queen and the Royal Family at this very sad time.
