Institute of Director’s leading director development course lands in Hong Kong
Institute of Directors (IoD), supported by with the UK Department for Business and Trade (DBT) and partners with the British Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong.
This September, the IoD’s flagship course – the International Role of the Director and the Board – comes to Hong Kong, offering high-impact training to sharpen board-level skills in a China-focused context.
Following on from the success of its director development programmes in Beijing and Shanghai since 2023, the IoD is expanding its presence in the region. For the first time, the course will be delivered in Hong Kong, providing an opportunity for local and international directors to expand their knowledge in a regional context.
Led by expert UK faculty, the course covers the key responsibilities of directors, strategies to improve board effectiveness and navigating legal liabilities in the UK, China, and other major jurisdictions.
Dr. Mike Hofmann shared his experience from the Beijing delivery of the programme:
The International Role of the Director and the Board takes place on 15-16 September 2025 at the British Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong.
