IoD China programme explores boardroom governance challenges
From 13–15 April 2026, the three-day Finance for Non-Finance Directors module of the IoD Certificate in Company Direction China Programme took place at the British Consulate-General Shanghai.
The course, led by Deborah Morton-Dare, brought together directors and senior executives from a wide range of industries and functions, creating a highly engaging, peer-driven learning environment with rich discussion and valuable shared experience.
Following the successful delivery of the course, we were delighted to collaborate with BritCham Shanghai on an evening panel event, “Issues for the Board in a World of Turmoil.”
Bringing together senior leaders and board-level professionals, the panel explored how directors can navigate complexity, risk, and governance challenges in today’s global environment. Speakers highlighted the practical, real-world insight that underpins IoD’s support for professional services in China.
