IoD collaboration with the Taiwan Institute of Directors (TWIOD)
The IoD is delighted to be collaborating with the Taiwan Institute of Directors (TWIOD) to provide professional development courses and CPD to inspiring – and aspiring – directors across the country.
The TWIOD was established in 2012 and is supported by prominent Taiwanese entrepreneurs and famous scholars, as it nurtures it’s members through challenges such as corporate transformation and family succession. It’s more than 200 members are medium and large-scale family firms and experts and elites from various fields of industry and academia.
Combining the strengths of industry, government and academia, and closely linked with other board-related organisations around the world, including the IoD, TWIOD assists its members to achieve the common goal of sustainable enterprise development, succession planning and professional development.
Speaking on the collaboration, the IoD’s Jayne Miller, International Commercial Relationship Manager said: “We’re delighted to be collaborating with TWIOD to share our professional development courses and expertise with a new audience of directors and leaders, and look forward to hearing of the successes of TWIOD members and their businesses as they grow and develop alongside the IoD.”
