44 Guernsey professionals pass IoD qualifications
44 of Guernsey’s current and prospective directors have shown their dedication to growing their careers and professional development by achieving IoD Certificates and Diplomas in Company Direction.
Since January 2022, 27 individuals have passed the IoD Certificate in Company Direction and 17 have passed the IoD Diploma in Company Direction. Many of those who passed their Certificate are also set to complete their Diploma later this year.
One of the core pillars for the IoD is continued professional development and we’re pleased to offer this in partnership with the GTA University.
Euan Melrose, Next Gen Forum Committee member, was one of the 27 to complete the IoD Certificate. He said: ‘I’ve always been interested in the IoD’s professional development series and reaching the point in my career where I’m able to begin these qualifications is a real milestone. The content brings together a number of key aspects for directors and the practical application of these within a work environment demonstrates the value of the qualification.
‘Away from the qualifications themselves, the diversity of each cohort is an added benefit. The ability to network and hear insights and experiences from different industries and markets gives an additional aspect of learning as part of the course.
‘I’m looking forward to starting the IoD Diploma module later this year.’
