New leadership confirmed for the North East & Cumbria region
Directors across the North East & Cumbria are set to benefit from a refreshed and more locally focused support structure, as the Institute of Directors (IoD) announces changes to its regional model in England.
As part of a move to create 12 smaller, more responsive regions, the IoD has confirmed Claire Austin as the new North East & Cumbria Region Chair. The changes are designed to strengthen local engagement, increase collaboration opportunities, and provide more tailored support for members in the region.
The new structure is backed by increased investment and will empower regional leadership groups to better reflect local priorities. IoD members can expect more opportunities to connect, develop professionally, and contribute to the voice of business in the North East and Cumbria.
