Kate Cooper
Kate joined the IoD in March 2023 and is Chief Financial Officer at the Institute of Directors.
Prior to joining the IoD Kate has had a successful career in the private sector across a variety of industries including the retail, telecoms and energy. She brings with her a wealth of experience in systems transformation, process optimisation and establishing high performance teams built on a business partnering approach.
She is working through the Chartered Director professional development journey having completed the diploma in company direction and continues to develop her governance experience.
Kate started her career in accountancy practice, training with Deloitte where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant. She is now a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales and holds an LLB Law Degree from Leeds Metropolitan University.
