Anneliese Reinhold

Currently based in Dubai, Anneliese is general counsel and most senior female executive of leading telecoms operator du, (2018 revenue: ~ $US 3.5Billion). She has led du Legal to become the first and so far only law department of a non-UK company to be awarded the prestigious Lexcel accreditation by the UK Law Society.

Anneliese serves as vice-chair of the Board of the Association of Corporate Counsel. She is a founding member of the Middle East Advisory Committee of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a founding investor and Investment Committee member of Dubai Angel Investors Ltd, positions that have contributed to her growing reputation as an expert commentator on digital/tech SME trajectory and entrepreneurship.

She is a regular speaker on issues including corporate governance, risk management and regulatory compliance, investment and growth strategies, and telecoms law and regulation.

Anneliese has a Bachelor of Laws & a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Economics) from the University of Melbourne. She is a graduate (GAICD) of the Australian Institute of Company Directors’ International Company Directors Program, has a Diploma in Management Accounting from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, and holds a current practising certificate as a solicitor from the Law Society of New South Wales.
