Andrew Griffiths
Andrew Griffiths is Director of Policy and Corporate Development for Planet Mark, a sustainability certification and net zero consultancy that supports organisations and real estate to measure and reduce carbon emissions and increase social impact.
Having immersed himself into the Institute of Directors community as part of the Young Directors Forum more than seven years ago, he has served as an IoD volunteer in a variety of capacities, most recently serving a 3-year term as Chair of the IoD National Sustainability Taskforce, as well as Branch Committee roles in the IoD Hertfordshire and Central London Branches respectively.
In addition to his Planet Mark and IoD hats, Andrew delivers Net Zero Governance training for the European Board Diploma and co-founded the Carbon Accounting Alliance (CAA), representing 400+ organisations in the industry in 40+ countries worldwide. He also sits on a number of Advisory Boards and Committees, including BSI Greenhouse Gas Management Standards, and UK government backed initiatives like UK Business Climate Hub, Project Perseus, and previously the UK Government COP26 Small Business Taskforce. Having delivered a TEDx talk on the power of meaningful networking, he is a big believer in the power of community and passionately believes in the value that the IoD delivers to society, particularly in developing effective leaders who stand for enterprise and integrity.
