Build & Empower a Care Aware Workforce

Do you want to attract a younger, more resilient and diverse workforce whilst benefiting from a wider talent pool of skills and perspectives? Have you considered how recruiting and retaining staff with care experience could add value to your business?
This event has been cancelled.

Join Who Cares? Scotland for a moving and engaging webinar, hosted by the Institute of Directors, that explores how your business can benefit from being ‘Care Aware’.

Hear first-hand how this approach is delivering both commercial value and cultural transformation from one of the UK’s most recognised retailers – the John Lewis Partnership – who have embedded Care Aware Workforce Training across their business as part of their commitment to being an employer of choice for Care Experienced people.

People who have grown up with experience of care have so much to offer your organisation. Yet many Care Experienced people face significant barriers in securing and sustaining meaningful employment. A lack of support and opportunity in the form of traditional family safety nets, coupled with a general lack of awareness about care experience, has led to this community being underrepresented in stable, long-term employment. We want to work with you to change this.
