What kind of leader are you? There is no template for a leader. All are different as everyone has their own strengths. However these strengths need to be uncovered. This workshop explores participants’ preferred leadership styles and how they can make the most of them.
This series of master-classes aims to provide practical learning and focuses on the different behaviours and skills needed to be effective as a leader. Of relevance to individuals who are currently directors and those about to be appointed within the private, public and Third Sectors, this series is for those serious about their professional development.

Ros Taylor
Ros has travelled the world developing the leadership potential of employees. A creative academic, she is a chartered clinical psychologist, coach, trainer and regular speaker on the conference circuit. She has worked extensively in the USA, Europe, and China. Newspapers have described her variously as ‘the guru of personal development’ and ‘the best motivational speaker heard this year’.
Ros was named by The Independent on Sunday as one of the top 10 coaches in Britain. Ros developed an international leadership programme specifically for women. Nearly 1000 women world-wide attended the programme with 66% achieving promotion or an expanded role. She also
launched an ILM7 accredited coaching school for those who want to become executive coaches.
No stranger to broadcast media, Ros was a presenter for 5 years on a nightly television news programme. She has written eight books, one of which provided the basis for BBC2’s six part documentary ‘Confidence Lab’ presented by Ros. The book of the programme Confidence In Just Seven Days, topped Amazon’s bestseller list. She was also the psychology consultant in the early days of ‘Big Brother’ and ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ on Channel 4. Ros broadcasts regularly on BBC radio and television, Scottish Television, GMTV, LWT, ITN News, Sky News, and Channel 4.
Ros is CEO of Smelling the Roses, which enables leaders to achieve high performance, with less of the stress and more of the joy. She has been appointed Ambassador for Education at the Institute of Directors and is Visiting Professor at Strathclyde University.
