The Importance of Workplace Mental Health for Directors

Addressing mental health

We look forward to holding an Institute of Directors’ (IoD) Aberdeen and Grampian Branch event on The Importance of Workplace Mental Health for Directors.

Research from Deloitte (2024) has revealed that the cost to employers of poor mental health in the workplace is £51bn per year, with £24bn of that coming from presenteeism. At this event Shabnum Hanif, Integrity HSE’s Director of Clinical Psychology, will offer her insights into that figure and then explain the workplace measures that will yield up to £4.70 back for every £1 that your business spends on addressing mental health. The event includes a networking lunch and ample time to meet with those that are attending as well as presenting.

This event is open to IoD members, and those interested in becoming a member.
