Lindi’s previous career as team physiotherapist and as an athlete, captaining a Netball Super League Team for four years, provided her with a deep personal understanding of how teams function both from a management and a player perspective. She regularly accompanied sports teams to international tournaments as well as supported elite individual athletes, physically and mentally, whilst preparing for international competitions. Susie Warran-Smith CBE DL

Susie Warran-Smith founded the multiple award-winning Breakthrough Funding company in 2015. Her business was sold to EY (Ernst and Young) in 2020 and she went on to become an Executive Director (Europe, Middle East, India and Africa) there, until her retirement in 2022.
She was awarded the Kent Business Woman of the Year in 2017 and the London and South East Director of the Year 2019 by the Institute of Directors. On 1 January 2022 she became a Commander of the British Empire for services to small business in Queen Elizabeth II's New Year Honours list and in the same year was appointed Deputy Lieutenant of Kent, a crown appointment.
She has been a non-executive on the main board of HM Revenue and Customs and a non-executive member at the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government. She is currently a non-executive at the British Library and has also been a trustee of Lantra Sector Skills Council and a governor of the University of Creative Arts.
Susie has appeared as a business expert on every national television and radio news programme in the UK from CNN, Sky News and Radio 4’s Today Programme to The Culture Show, BBC Breakfast, The Politics Show and The Food Programme. She is the author of ten books including her acclaimed autobiography Swimming On My Own.
