Andy Wilkinson

Founding Partner and Managing Director of OWB Creative, founded in 2000 the Birmingham based full-service marketing agency celebrates 22 years leading the sector. Andy has worked in senior client-side positions for brands including TNT Express, Blagden Packaging and Burgess group and marketing agencies across the UK and overseas.

Andy is chair of the Institute of Directors (IoD) Greater Birmingham & Solihull, establishing the presence in 2021. Wins to date include setting up a hub for members in The Grand, a monthly networking evening, hosting the 2022 Commonwealth Business Conference and establishing the tech huddle events with Birmingham Tech attracting c750 SMEs in 2022.

Andy supports charities including; Cure Leukaemia, Acorns and Free@last and is a judge for the 2022 Technology Supply Chain Innovation Awards. He is proud to be finalist in the forthcoming 2022 MBCC Awards.

Andy is a member of the Reform Club. He is a former non-executive director for St Giles Hospice group and Business Link West Midlands, where he was also made an ambassador for creative industries. He was awarded ‘Director of the Year’ in the small business category in the 2018 IoD West Midlands Awards. He was a finalist in the 2021 Business Desk West Midlands Leadership Awards and winner of the Elonex/Birmingham Business Excellence Awards for creativity and marketing.

Paul Tracey

Paul is manager of the IoD's Information & Advisory service, which provides research and guidance to IoD members to help in the running of their businesses. Members can access information from commercial databases through the IAS, as well as receiving independent and confidential advice from our panel of expert advisers.

Paul joined the IoD in 2019 and prior to this worked for many years in the media monitoring industry.
