Speakers
Adrian Pryce
Adrian is a seasoned non-executive director and business advisor with a career spanning banking, travel and tourism, speciality chemicals, the food and drink industry, and not for profit sectors. An MBA graduate from IESE, Spain, he has worked with both established businesses and start-ups, including a year with the World Bank.
As a trained B Corp Leader, Adrian advises on social strategies, impact measurement, and social value reporting. He co-founded Be. Partners Ltd, focusing on responsible business, and The Crysalys Foundation, supporting disadvantaged children. Adrian is an Associate Professor and the University of Northampton, and chair of the IoD Sustainability Group.
Becky Bradshaw
COO and Deputy Vice Chancellor, University of Northampton
Becky is the COO and Deputy Vice Chancellor. She led the operationalisation of the University of Northampton’s new and innovative Waterside Campus and most recently directed its strategic response to the Coronavirus pandemic. She is passionate about social impact and the influence of professional services on student outcomes, alongside sustainability and environmental improvement, and currently leads development of both the University’s Sustainability and Estates strategies. Becky is also an ardent advocate of equality, diversity and inclusion, was a founding member of the AUDE Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Development Group, shaping and influencing equality, diversity and inclusion in estate and facility workforces and campuses throughout the sector.
Dave Wakelin
Director of Sustainability, Gleeds
Dave has been a sustainability consultant for over 20 years. He leads the sustainability team at Gleeds, a construction consultancy, helping clients and colleagues identify, managed and overcome the challenges that climate change is posing on us all. He works to embed sustainability into all core services, and collaborates with the ESG team to help improve Gleeds' own operations. As sustainability and net-zero carbon solutions are such a strong presence in Gleeds' projects, David spends most of his time working with clients and teams to promote sustainable practices. His team are essential in creating tailored solutions, by testing ideas and exploring ways to help clients deliver projects that benefit them, the planet, and society.
