Cyber Resilience  a boardroom imperative

Our Head of Innovation and Technology Policy Dr Erin Young is joined by the Department of Science, Innovation and Technology and the National Cyber Security Centre to provide this critical lunchtime webinar on protecting your business

Hostile cyber activity in the UK has grown in frequency, sophistication and intensity. Over the past year, 74% of large businesses suffered a cyber breach or attack, yet many are still not taking effective action to protect themselves.

Recent high-profile attacks have demonstrated how cyber resilience is fundamental to protecting the bottom-line.

This event will focus on the threat landscape, the importance of companies developing cyber resilience, and the Government's free package of action on Cyber Governance. This includes the Cyber Governance Code of Practice, which supports boards and directors to take the actions they need to, to more effectively govern cyber risk and enhance their company's resilience.

Cub now leads a team focussed on improving how cyber risk is embedded within organisations existing business strategy and governance mechanisms in order to raise national resilience.
