Crash test for cyber resilience
Sponsored by Hiscox
In August 2025, the cyberattack on Jaguar Land Rover sent a shockwave through the UK economy, costing the company hundreds of millions and severely disrupting its extensive supply chain, many of which are small to medium-sized enterprises.
This pivotal event starkly highlighted that cyber risk is no longer an 'IT problem' but an existential business threat. Compounding JLR's significant financial losses was the reported lack of a comprehensive cyber insurance package, forcing them to absorb the full, devastating cost of the shutdown and recovery. Join us for this essential webinar, sponsored by Hiscox, where we will examine recent cyberattacks including JLR to extract crucial, actionable lessons for UK business directors.
Hiscox has just released its ninth annual Cyber Readiness Report which reveals some shocking statistics: 59% of SMEs said they had experienced a cyberattack in the last 12 months, over half said they'd been attacked via AI vulnerabilities, and a third were made to pay a large fine after being attacked. Eddie Lamb, Global Head of Cyber at Hiscox, will join us to discuss the findings of the latest report in more detail.
What else will we cover in the session:
-
The techniques and tactics that threat agents are utilising against SMEs
-
Risk management strategies - such as mitigation vs transfer options - for ensuring operations are maintained after an attack
-
What cyber insurance covers and how it protects your business
Book your place now to learn the steps to safeguard your business and build your cyber resilience.
