Panel discussion and audience Q&A.
This event has been cancelled.

We are delighted to invite you to a special event commemorating International Women's Day 2024, organised by the UK Government’s Scotland Office in partnership with the Institute of Directors (IoD) and Women in Public Affairs (WiPA) Scotland.

Join us for what is sure to be an enlightening evening featuring distinguished speakers Nathalie Agnew, Managing Director of Muckle Media; Lesley Brydon, Founder and Managing Director, Clark Communications and Zahra Hedges, Chief Executive Officer of Winning Scotland. The event will be expertly moderated by Julie Ashworth, Chair of IoD Scotland and Ellie Wagstaff, co-chair of WiPA Scotland.

This year's IWD theme, "Count Her In: Invest in Women. Accelerate Progress," underscores the significance of supporting and investing in women to drive societal progress. By empowering women with opportunities to thrive economically, we contribute to the advancement of communities as a whole. We will hear from our panel about their journeys through entrepreneurship and influencing the policy landscape to eliminate barriers for women in this field.

We invite you to be a part of this celebration, contributing to the dialogue surrounding the theme and honouring the achievements of women in entrepreneurship and influence across Scotland.

Refreshments will be provided.
