Charlie Palmer

Charlie is a Senior Managing Director at FTI Consulting. He works in the Strategic Communications segment and is based in London. Charlie also serves as the Global Head of the segment’s Telecom, Media & Technology (TMT) industry practice, and is part of the segment’s Financial Communications practice.
Charlie provides communications advice to a broad range of both international companies. He has worked on over US$150bn of transactions, including agreed and hostile M&A, activist defence, IPOs and SPACs. He also has considerable broader IR experience, including helping to set up the IR function for Volvo Cars. He has over 20 years’ experience and has been with the group for over 20 years.

Kate Brader

Kate is a crisis communication and crisis management specialist with deep expertise and experience in managing high profile live incidents.

Kate's work has included responding to the NotPetya cyber-attack; high profile discrimination issues; and environmental activism.

Kate is passionate about principles based, strategic resilience planning to prepare companies to respond to the unexpected.

Previous to joining FTI Consulting, Kate developed and led the 'Live Response' service offering and capability at Deloitte. She joined Deloitte as part of the acquisition of her firm Regester Larkin, where she established and ran its Americas business, based in Houston, TX.

Pete Burnap

Professor Burnap is Director of the Cardiff Centre for Cyber Security Research, and Airbus's only global Centre of Excellence in Cyber Security Analytics. He was appointed to the UK Government's AI Council, advising on AI and the data economy.

His research covers the development of artificial intelligence approaches to automated cyber attack detection and response, and the fusion with risk and human factors of cybersecurity.

Professor Burnap also directs the Wales Cyber Innovation Hub – a £13.8m programme aiming to grow the Wales cybersecurity sector by 50% over the next 5 years through innovations in IP commercialisation, and to develop a world class suite of hands-on cybersecurity skills programmes aligned to local industry needs – reskilling over 1500 people in South East Wales.
