Ellvena is currently Chair of Tourism NI and a Non-Executive Director of the Dale Farm Group.
She has been Chair of the Electricity Supply Board (ESB), one of the major state-owned utilities in Ireland, Senior Independent Governor of Queen’s University Belfast, Chair of Catalyst, Chairman of the Belfast Waterfront & Ulster Hall (BWUH) Ltd and a Non-Executive Director of Ulster Bank Ltd. Ellvena was President of NI Chamber of Commerce & Industry for two terms.
