Chris Walton

Chris Walton is a full-time independent board Chair and director.
He is currently Chairman of Aegis Energy, a company which is developing green energy refuelling infrastructure for UK heavy road transport. In addition, he is the Chair of The Royal Mint, which produces the UK’s coins. Also, he is the Audit Chair of the East West Railway Company, which is responsible for the design and build of the £6.6bn Oxford to Cambridge railway. Previously, Chris was the Chairman of the listed company KazMunayGas, Lothian Buses Plc and two former UK listed companies: Goldenport (shipping) and Asia Resource Minerals Plc (mining). In addition, he was the Senior Independent Director and Audit Chair of Rockhopper Exploration Plc, an offshore oil exploration company, and Audit Chair of KTZ.
