IoD course leader
David Kearney brings over 30 years of experience of working on international negotiations with over 30 cultures across Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific. His prime objective is to develop added value deals in long-term relationships. He has worked with senior teams across multiple sectors including aerospace, construction, defence, financial services, pharmaceutical, retail and transport. He is experienced in post-acquisition integration across different cultures to prevent erosion of value.
Professional credentials and training experience
David is a Chartered Director, a Chartered Psychologist and a Fellow of the Institute of Business Consulting. David has been running programme for the IoD for over 10 years. He also works with international businesses to develop best practice negotiation both in sales and in resolving issues during project or service delivery. David also run programmes on leadership development, consultative selling and selling in complex contexts. He is experienced in facilitating large business events: from conferences through to large problem solving events.
For the IoD or as part of his own consultancy, David has worked with organisations such as Arup, Augusta Westlands, BAe Systems, Coca-Cola, Commerzbank, Costain, Deutsche Bank, DORMA-Kaba, EDF, Ernst & Young, Harrods, Hewlett Packard, Hugo-Boss, Lock Fyne, the NHS, Rolls-Royce, Santander, Schneider-Electric, Screwfix, Southern Railways and Thales.
