This course, developed in partnership with the Open Data Institute (ODI), focuses on director knowledge and skills in relation to data governance and how treating data as an asset supports your business strategy. You will gain practical skills and techniques in data governance that can be immediately applied to your organisation.

- describe key roles and accountabilities for data governance
- identify common barriers to implementing a data governance framework
- list and explain policies and processes needed to support data governance
