Head of Corporate Governance
Oliver Parry is Head of Corporate Governance Policy for the Institute of Directors.
He leads on UK, european and international corporate governance
policy. He also serves as secretary to the IoD’s “Good Governance Initiative”
and manages our relationships with financial and market regulators.
He joined the IoD in June 2014. A former communications director
at the Financial Reporting Council (2011 – 2013), he has worked for Redleaf
Polhill, a leading investor relations and advisory firm in the City of London,
and for Cicero Consulting, where we advised a range of blue chip FTSE 100
companies on their corporate affairs.
Oliver began his career working for Rt Hon Patrick McLoughlin MP
in his parliamentary office and between 2007 and 2008 worked for Conservative
Party Central Office. He read History at Newcastle University.
