From online courses to workplace training there are a number of ways to get expert help and practical advice

Mental Health First Aid

MHFA was developed and launched under the Department of Health as part of a national approach to improving mental health.

THE MHFA’s Client Experience Team works with hundreds of large organisations, schools and colleges, from across the corporate, statutory and voluntary sector to ensure their mental health training needs are met.

The training that the MHFA deliver has been tailored to include sector-relevant case studies and key areas of interest such as depression, anxiety and stress.

This mental health charity offers a cost-effective way to promote mental wellbeing in your organisation and at home. Mind has a range of courses to choose from including ones specifically tailored for line managers, supervisors and other support staff.

This provides increased understanding of workplace wellbeing and can discuss the impact of work in relation to mental health. Mind will also provide information on spotting symptoms, communicating sensitively and cultivating a mentally healthy workplace, as well as providing several workplace wellbeing resources to support you further.

Feel Good deliver powerful and thought provoking wellbeing workshops and resilience programmes to global organisations within banking, sport, communications and media, many being in the Times Top 100. The Feel Good team are a group of qualified professionals in psychology, nutrition, physiotherapy and mindfulness who deliver wellbeing workshops at your office.

What Works Wellbeing

Has produced a short, free, downloadable PowerPoint Course on wellbeing, which explains why we need to recognise the need for complementary measures of social progress as well as providing practical tips to improve the wellbeing of your workforce. It also serves to give an excellent overview on why the IoD believes the issue of mental health should be taken seriously.
