As a Non-Executive Director, you will help shape our strategic direction by providing entrepreneurial leadership, supporting future growth and delivering for all our members. You will bring a fresh perspective and constructive challenge focused on the development of the organisation and its operational and financial performance. Working in collaboration with your Board colleagues, you will help ensure the IoD remains a progressive force for business while upholding the Institute’s gold standard reputation for corporate governance.
To complement the Board’s existing skills and knowledge base, within the context of a robust and balanced board, the IoD is seeking Non-Executive Directors with the demonstrable ability to provide real insight, introduce new ideas and make sound decisions at board level. You will have a commercial outlook and sound judgment, plus the ability to influence and objectively challenge in a supportive manner. We welcome interest from all functional backgrounds and specialisms including Chartered Directors and experience in Finance, Legal and Digital/Marketing.
The position will have a commitment of one to one and a half days per month.
