This week's IoD 99 bites focuses on conversations. Well, more specifically governance and how diverse boards create diverse conversations and the importance of them.
In this bites we were joined by awesome IoD 99 member Jean-Philippe Perraud, Founder of NED On Board and Jamie Kerr, Head of External Relations at the IoD.
Good governance and diverse conversations are important for the private and third sectors, as well as on the governing bodies of organisations such as schools. So how do you ensure that you have a skilled board? How do you enable diverse conversations at board level? Is it important to have your customers/stakeholders voice heard at board level and what are the value adds? These questions and more are answered.
We also talked a bit about IoD Policy Voice. This group of IoD members who help ensure the we are able to go in to bat with senior ministers and civil servants to emphasise the issues of importance to you and your business. So watch the above, enjoy and we've put two links below which provide a bit more information on the subject area which we hope will be of interest!
