IoD appoints Rashmi Dubé as spokesperson for Policy and Governance Ambassadors

The Institute of Directors has announced the appointment of Rashmi Dubé to the new role of National Spokesperson, IoD Policy and Governance Ambassadors.

Rashmi is a lawyer and partner at Gunnercooke LLP, and has received her IoD Certificate in Company Direction. After joining the IoD, Rashmi become the regional Policy and Governance Ambassador for Yorkshire and the NE, ensuring the regional concerns were addressed centrally. She also sits on the Cabinet Office’s SME advisory panel.

Speaking about her appointment, Rashmi Dubé said:

“I am excited to take on this new role, acting as the bridge between the IoD’s policy team and the network of Policy and Governance Ambassadors all around the country.

“Now more than ever, it is crucial that directors’ voices are heard, as we deal with the challenges facing the economy following the pandemic.

“I am looking forward to working with the Institute’s team to ensure that we understand the key issues that matter to directors, and that they are heard and acted on in the corridors of power.”

Dubé has been appointed for a 12 month term, commencing on 1st June 2021.
