The IoD is always looking at ways we can help members achieve greater flexibility in their professional lives, and one of the key (and long-standing) challenges facing company founders, directors, and the self–employed has been how to reconcile childcare requirements with increasingly flexible working practices.
This summer, the IoD will be exploring whether there is any appetite for a scheme that could help members deal with these challenges.
Any trial that emerges on the back of the consultation would initially be based around the London HQ at 116 Pall Mall, and would not involve on site services. It would instead involve collaborating with an external service that organises activities for children above nursery age in Central London.
