HMRC support for businesses that trade with the EU: how to submit delayed import declarations

This week, HMRC is offering advice to businesses that trade with the EU on how to submit delayed customs import declarations for non-controlled goods you have imported into Great Britain from the EU.

If you have imported goods from the EU since 1 January 2021 and you did not make a customs import declaration at the time, you need to submit a delayed import declaration to HMRC within 175 days of the date the goods arrived in Great Britain. There is important action you need to take now to ensure you’re ready to do this.
