Responding to the Prime Minister’s address to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Stephen Martin, Director General of the Institute of Directors, said:

“Mrs May was right to highlight that we face challenges in making sure the benefits of new technology are shared across society. There are difficult choices to be made in order to address concerns about use of personal data and flexible employment. But there are grounds for optimism if the UK embraces the principles of free enterprise and trade.”
