Can you tell us a bit about your organisation?
For almost a century, Westfield Health has been committed to supporting people with affordable and best in class health cover. We are regulated by the FCA and PRA. We are not for profit and we keep investing part of our investment income to constantly improve our products and services, as well as being able to make significant donations to the NHS and medically related charities.

For me, the IoD provides an opportunity to network with fellow Directors from all corners of industry. Although our businesses may be very different, we can share broader challenges, which affect us all and learn through different perspectives. As a business leader, I have a voice through the IoD that is a respected and influential association. I can personally benefit from the many member offers available, while events provide an opportunity to hear from senior speakers on important business topics.
Are there any tips or advice would you give to other members to help them make the most of their membership?

What would you like to see from the IoD in the future?
Continue to bring business leaders together, to share challenges and successes, and also to maintain a voice for all industry, helping drive economic growth.
Provide more information on market salary and reward trends, particularly by sector and geographically, for both Executive and Non-Executive Board Directors. Deliver communication sound bites on current topics, such as changes in HR legislation and solvency.
