"My main challenge was support and guidance. I didn’t know where to turn to with problems, questions etc. But when I found the IoD99, I found a support network willing to help!"
What have you found as a result of being an IoD 99 member?
"That you aren’t alone. There are lots of people just starting out who are feeling the same frustrations."
How long have you been a member of the IoD 99 network?
"I’m now into my second year and will be joining for a third. I’ve also persuaded others to join too!"
What is your favourite thing about being part of the IoD 99 community?
"The events and community feel. For example, the Facebook group is a real plus! Everyone is so keen to help, no matter how small the problem."

"As a 99 member I’ve had a Director magazine feature, become a Director of the Year finalist and secured a new client win!"

"By meeting like-minded individuals. For example, I met my mentor at an event who has helped me to scale, provide strategy and marketing recommendations."

"The IoD has changed for the better by opening its doors to us - the millennials and of course, young business women."
What does being an entrepreneur mean to you?
"Everything. It gives you freedom, excitement and confidence. No day is ever the same. I wouldn’t change it for the world."

If you could give one piece of advice to fellow entrepreneurs, what would it be and why?
“Roll the dice and take a chance. It’s the best piece of advice I was ever given and wouldn’t be where I was today without it!"
