IoD appoints Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire chair

The Institute of Directors (IoD) has appointed Paul Hooper-Keeley to chair its Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire branch.

Paul is Managing Director of Intervallum Limited, which provides interim finance director & CFO services to businesses. This can be for turnaround situations, growth & exit transaction projects, or as a safe pair of hands between CFOs to allow the client the time to run a successful recruitment process.

Working within industry since 1983, he has been a board level director since 1996 and was the IoD’s 25th Chartered Director, qualifying in 2000. In addition to being a Fellow of CIMA and holding an MBA from Edinburgh Business School, Paul has continued his life-long learning by passing the Financial Times non-executive director diploma in 2021.

As a West Midlands chartered ambassador since 2010, he has been the develop ambassador for the IoD’s Greater Birmingham branch for the last 18-months and holds non-executive directorships with B: Music and Lichfield Garrick Theatre.

The IoD is a thriving membership community for directors that provides professional development, valuable connections, and influence.

“I want to help to build better directors in this branch starting from the aspirations at student level at our universities to right across the spectrum of age and experience, to build a community of directors and put on events that add value to their careers and businesses.”
