Lloyd’s of London Tour
Join us for an exclusive tour of Lloyd's of London, where you'll uncover the rich history and modern workings of this iconic institution.
After meeting at 3pm, we will visit the iconic Lloyd’s Building in the heart of the City of London during working hours. Led by an official Lloyd’s guide, the tour will cover both the history and the current operations of Lloyd’s, which is a critical and emblematic part of the international insurance market.
Following the main tour, we have arranged an additional session covering the activities of Lloyd’s Lab, which acts as an incubator for InsurTech innovation. This should be especially relevant for anyone interested in the impact of technology, including AI, on the insurance sector.
Lloyd’s is, of course, famous for insuring everything from the Titanic to satellite launches, and is now much involved in creating insurance solutions in rapidly developing areas of risk such as cyber crime and climate change.
After the tour, the group will convene in nearby Leadenhall Market for informal drinks.
Important notes:
- The tour will commence at 3:15pm and finish at approximately 4:45pm.
- Attendees must be at the Lloyd’s building on at 1 Lime Street, London EC3M 7HA by 3pm to register and obtain their building passes.
- All attendees must bring photo ID with them (such as a driving license) for security clearance.
Please be aware that places are limited to a maximum of 20 people. Because of this, and the fact that we need to provide names of all visitors for security purposes, please book as early as possible (bookings will close on Thursday 5 September, or once the maximum number of participants is reached).
