Lessons in unfair dismissal

With the Tribunal seeing an increasing amount of unfair dismissal claims, Leanne McKeown and Lizzie Beard of DQ Advocates’ Employment Team look at current unfair dismissal headlines within the Employment sphere and consider lessons to be learnt by employers and employees alike here on the Isle of Man.

Discussion will cover unfair dismissal claims and the interplay with various topics such as “sham” misconduct hearings, compensation, harassment and managing sickness absence.

A buffet lunch will be available on arrival from 12:30pm in Tanner's Loft.

We will aim to start the presentation at 1pm, with a view to closing at 2pm.

There will be time for a short Q&A following the presentation.
