Oxfordshire pitching for support

Be part of the next new innovation / Start Up from the University of Oxford (In partnership with Enterprising Oxford & Oxford University Science Park Begbroke)

Sponsored by Begbroke Science Park, University of Oxford

This event has been cancelled.

Join us to hear from four innovative new technology start-ups from the University of Oxford’s Science park, this is our second event this year aimed at marrying the business skills of IoD members with new companies being curated by the university that are in need of business knowledge and support.

This is not a fund-raising event rather it is a pitch for skills, the companies expect that if support is secured it will be on a remunerated basis to be agreed between the parties post the event. Typical support needed will be legal, go to market planning, finance, fundraising, marketing, project management through to NED/ advisory roles.  This is an exciting opportunity to be exposed to some of the most cutting-edge ideas and a chance to support and help them on their journey. Please join us on what will be an interesting and motivating evening. Space is limited to 50 guests so please book early to ensure your place.

More details about the pitching companies will be shared in the coming weeks.

Supporting this event:   Oxford University Begbroke Science Park, is the only science park wholly owned and managed by the university; a world-renowned brand whose prestige and excellence in teaching, research and innovation attracts students, academics and researchers from across the world.  It is a unique and innovative science and research-based environment.  Academics, researchers and students from Oxford University collaborate closely with research and development businesses, entrepreneurs and spin-out companies on new products, processes and technologies.
