Fourth Annual Earth Day Quiz Night
The IoD Property and Built Environment Group is excited to be hosting our Annual Earth Day Quiz Night on the 29 April, from 6pm-10pm, in support of our environment.
Join us for a fun evening of networking and quizzing, where we will be challenging your general knowledge, as well as a selection of questions about all things planet and sustainability, while raising money for a worthy charity.
This year, we will be turning over the keys to the expert quiz-runners at the Steam Bar & Restaurant. They have extensive experience in quizzes and an excellent reputation. The quiz will consist of 6 general rounds, a music intro round and a picture round. Questions are set to the level of the audience and their Compere for the night flows the evening perfectly.
£10.00 from each registration will be donated to Trees for Cities.
So, grab your team of fellow business leaders, friends, and quizzers–or come along solo–and join us in doing our bit while having fun!
We strongly encourage teams of six to register, but individuals may register, and we will organise teams on the night.
Agenda (subject to change):
- 17.30 – Arrivals and networking
- 18.15 – Introductions/sponsors
- 18.30 – Quiz starts: 6 Question rounds, a picture round and a music intro round, with 2 x 15-minute breaks
- 21.00 – Answers, results and prizes!
- 21.15 – Networking
- 23.00 – Carriages
Price includes a generous food spread (nibbles, appetisers, sliders, charcuterie platter) and one bottle of wine plus 10 beers per table. (Please advise us of any allergies or dietary requirements.) Additional food and drinks will be available to purchase throughout the evening.
Team prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be given! You have to be in it to win it!

Richard Nelson - Ambassador, IoD Property and Built Environment Group
Richard is an Ambassador and Past Chair of the IoD Property and Built Environment Group, Managing Director of consultancy Abyss Global, and Co-Founder of the campaign group Don’t Waste Buildings. He has successfully served as quizmaster of the Earth Day Quiz Night for the last three years, but this year he will be turning over the reins to the professional quizmasters at the Steam Bar & Restaurant – after he tells everyone about Don’t Waste Buildings!
