Exploring opportunities Join the discussion on appointing Chair and Board members for SEPA
SEPA is Scotland’s principal environmental regulator, protecting and improving Scotland’s environment. Scotland’s environment is a precious and unique resource that is at the heart of their commitment to deliver for Scotland.
SEPA has a unique and visionary statutory purpose: to protect and improve the environment in ways that, as far as possible, also create health and wellbeing benefits and sustainable economic growth for the people of Scotland. Delivering this successfully requires new ways of thinking and new ways of acting. With around 1,300 staff across Scotland and a budget of over £93.3m, SEPA is responsible for delivering two fundamental services – environmental regulation and flood risk management. You can find out more about SEPA at www.sepa.org.uk/Board.
Join us online to hear more about these exciting opportunities from outgoing Chair Bob Downes and board member Julie Hutchison. Bob and Julie will give their perspective on what each role entails as well as some reflections on their time as SEPA board members as well as answering your questions.
Joining instructions will be sent prior to the event.
