Entrepreneurship and Intrapreneurship inspiring directors of tomorrow
As part of Global Entrepreneurs Week, the Surrey IoD branch, in collaboration with the University of Surrey, University of Creative Arts and Royal Holloway University are hosting an online event aimed at undergraduates with an interest in starting their own business or understanding how these skills can benefit any future employment.
Members of the IoD will share their experiences of setting up and running a business looking at areas including lessons learned (good and bad), top tips and recommended connections/foundational knowledge to make you stand out from the crowd.
They will also talk about Intrapreneurship – the value of harnessing an entrepreneurial spirit in established businesses, something employers are increasingly seeking in today’s fast changing business scene.
Whether you are interested in starting your own business now, think that it might be something for the future or want to increase your employability in an established business by improving your skillset, this is the event for you.
Attendees with have an opportunity to submit any questions on the day.
