Beyond IT Cybersecurity as a Leadership Obligation

Andy Dodge is the Partnerships and Business Manager for the Cyber Innovation Hub. CIH is on a mission to transform South Wales into a leading cyber security cluster by the end of the decade, creating a world-class pipeline of new cyber products, high-growth businesses and technically skilled talent. Thanks to the support of the Welsh Government and Cardiff Capital Region, CIH is being led by both Cardiff University and University of South Wales (both National Cyber Security Council [NCSC] recognised for excellence in research, innovation and education) with a consortium of multiple private and public sector partners including Airbus, the Alacrity Foundation, CGI, Thales and Tramshed Tech

Andy has extensive experience in engaging with a diverse array of organizations within Wales and the UK. Since joining CIH, Andy has been instrumental in leading and managing engagement activity and developing effective strategic relationships with key stakeholders at a senior level. He is a prominent figure in the field of private, public, and third-sector collaborations. Andy continues to drive engagement and commercial value for the Cyber Innovation Hub team and is integral to CIH achieving its goals of growing the South Wales Cyber Cluster pulling national and international investment into the region, with economic benefits for partners, funders, and the wider community.
