Behind the scenes - Zurich tour
Thanks to Zurich International we are pleased to host a discussion and tour of their solar and light harvesting energy saving installations.
Over the last 12 months Zurich has made significant changes in working practices through the installation of smart technology in the office.
Zurich adopted a holistic approach to sustainability. By looking at how each element works together and encouraging a high level of staff engagement, Zurich has started to see the benefit with clear reductions in energy use.
We will also have an opportunity to see the newly opened garden and woodlands, which forms part of the Nature Recovery Network. This scheme launched with UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man and The Manx Wildlife Trust, aims to develop green areas to encourage everyone to do their bit for nature and boost biodiversity.
