Advice for directors Resolving conflict with mediation

Hear from top mediators at the Civil Mediation Council about this method of dispute resolution.

Sometimes when we encounter conflict in business - for example, a dispute in the workplace, or negotiations with another company have broken down - an external party is required to resolve that conflict.

Companies may opt for arbitration or litigation, meaning that control over the final outcome rests with the external party. However, mediation gives more control to those involved in the dispute, and may be the better option in some cases.

In this webinar, you will learn about:

  • The business costs of dispute and the opportunities that disputes can create;
  • How to harness conflict and have better difficult conversations;
  • Understanding the mediation process;
  • How to enhance board room conversations by planting mediation at the core of dispute resolution;
  • Top tips for board members to get the best out of any mediation opportunities.
