The Archbishop of York Dr John Sentamu is joining business leaders at a high-profile event organised by the Institute of Directors.
The Archbishop will be at Cloth Hall Court in Leeds for an ‘Open Doors’ gathering of IoD members from Yorkshire and the North East.
He will meet business leaders including Allie Renison, the IoD’s Head of Europe and Trade Policy, one of the UK’s most influential commentators on Brexit. Allie will outline the latest advice for businesses preparing for the departure from the European Union.
She will be joined by Dr Alan James, Partner at Expert Alliance, the Northumberland-based specialist strategic infrastructure practice. The former vice-president for Virgin Hyperloop One will talk about infrastructure for the North.
IoD Regional Director Natalie Sykes said: “We are delighted that the Archbishop will be our guest at our Open Doors event which comes at an interesting and challenging time for business given the forthcoming General Election and further debate about Brexit.
“We look forward to hearing from our speakers and their perspectives while providing our members with a great opportunity to network and share their experiences.”
Non IoD members are also welcome to join the free-to-attend Open Doors.
