Young Directors Forum (YDF)
The Young Directors Forum (YDF) is a platform for young directors and future leaders with the shared vision of creating events that fit their interests and needs whilst providing experiences and networking opportunities whilst engaging their minds with the core business topics of today and tomorrow. YDF achieves these aims by hosting networking events, personal development events and workshops.
Tourism and Hospitality
The aim of the Travel & Hospitality SIG is to create a community where sector leaders can come together to discuss and collaborate, and connect with leaders in other sectors too. A neutral platform with recurring events on important and controversial topics, with engaging and interactive panel discussions at exclusive locations, where everyone has a voice and we can offer concrete and actual solutions.
Business leaders exploring digital frontiers – the ERP SIG aims to educate and engage with IoD members on recent ERP/Digital technologies, develop strategic relationships with global blue chip Corporate ERP/Digital vendors, develop strategic relationships with Digital leaders of UK Government, and Highlight Governance, Internal Audit, Board Director roles and Risk management.
The new International Trade Special Interest Group seeks to create a community for members that are interested in all aspects of international trade, both exporting and inward investment. It aims to bring together IoD members involved in International Trade by hosting events, developing a community and raising the profile of International Traders.
The Education Special Interest Group aims to build relationships with academia to develop robust collaborative communities by providing engaging and informative networking events, and engage with IoD members, entrepreneurs, SMEs, Corporate and Government to enlist support and opportunities for student members to create collaborative partnerships and sponsorship.

The Music and Arts Special Interest Group has been set up to see what business leaders can do for the arts in these new times, what the arts can do for our businesses nationally and to excavate the hidden creative talents and passions of our members.
