Have you ever thought: ‘That’s a really important project for my organisation to look at. But I just don’t have the resource right now!”
Here at Henley Business School, we might just be able to help get those “nice-to-have” projects off the ground.
We are currently looking for organisations willing to host our students as they undertake the Business Project element of their studies. If your organisation would like to work with one or more of our smart, creative and talented students, we’d be delighted to hear from you.
What’s in it for you?
- All of our students will combine their personal business experience with skills and knowledge from their studies to deliver an agreed project to your organisation
- You will gain a student or group of students with creative ideas, who will have an external view of your business challenges and who can provide informed feedback on your plans to address your business issues
- Our students’ services are provided free of charge (out of pocket expenses, e.g. travel costs, should be covered by the organisation, though)
- A chance to consider this project as an extended job interview if you are planning to recruit
“I really appreciated their structured approach to the subject and the amount of work they put in during a very short period of time. The findings of their analysis were very relevant and they made a fantastic contribution to our decision making process. In their report there were also a number of general observations which were very useful to our strategy.”

How does it work?
Students work with organisations on a ‘live’ business issue. By hosting a student or group of students, you are providing the opportunity for them to put into practice their learning. In return you gain a bright and enthusiastic student or group of students to solve a topical business issue within your organisation. This is the final project that our students embark upon to achieve their degree and it draws on their business acumen, project management and consulting skills to solve an important ‘live’ management dilemma or business challenge.
“As the owner of a small boutique consulting organisation I am delighted to say I have worked with three top MBA students this summer on their projects and two are continuing on to support me in my business. Henley Business School is a fantastic academic centre with top talent.”
