IoD South West is seeking Bristol Branch Chair
This will be the first appointment in a series as we build a new network of Branches, typically associated with the University Business Schools in the region which will bring many mutual benefits. The first will be associated with our regional ‘home’ in Bristol and the University of the West of England (UWE).
The new Branches will work within a framework of committee, volunteer Ambassadors and with the support of the Institute’s local employees, led by Kerri-Anne Mruk, IoD South West Senior Branch Manager and South West Chair Muir Macdonald CDir.
As we move into the economic recovery phase following the pandemic and navigate the post-Brexit landscape there has never been a greater opportunity to influence and help shape the city and the region’s success through our long-standing values of enterprise and integrity creating a ‘go to’ destination for Directors in business and organisations both private and public.
The role is for a three-year term and is unremunerated but comes with a range of benefits including discounts on many IoD Professional Development courses; directly engaging with and influencing IoD discussions; open access to the IoD Governance and Policy Unit related to your specialty area and invitations to join Special Interest Groups.
