Appointment: Chairman of Board of Trustees
Commitment: Two days per month
The charity: The Scottish Fisheries Museum, based in Anstruther, Fife, is a national museum, telling the story of Scotland’s fishing industry, its boats, harbours and communities.
Established in 1969, the Museum has reached an exciting stage in its development, poised to consolidate and extend its outreach as a premier educational and tourist attraction in the East Neuk.
Due to the retirement of the present Chairman in May, the Trustees are inviting applications for a successor to this appointment, candidates with senior leadership experience, ‘networking’ skills, comfortable in strengthening links with government agencies, NGO’s, funding institutions and other supporters, and being an active champion for the Museum.
Contact: Persons who would like to register an interest in this appointment are asked to get in touch, in the first instance, with: George T Lyon, Trustee and Secretary, at email@example.com
