The Institute of Directors supports measures in the Government’s new higher education White Paper to give students more information on teaching standards at different universities. Seamus Nevin, Head of Education and Skills at the IoD, said:

“UK universities are already among the best in the world and by placing a greater focus on collecting and publishing information on how universities perform on teaching quality and admissions diversity, these reforms will help to ensure that the education market becomes even more competitive. This will drive up standards further and improve the employment and career potential of British graduates. At a time when the skills and productivity gaps are so great, the benefits of this to British business and the wider economy will be significant."
