IoD launches search for North West Branch Chairs
The Institute of Directors (IoD) is recruiting new Branch Chairs to lead four of its North West branches.
The successful candidates will head up branches in Cumbria, Lancashire, Cheshire and Greater Manchester, and work alongside the North West Chair and Vice Chair in developing the membership body for the region.
The voluntary positions are open to IoD members who live or work in each of the four counties and will support the IoD’s work in connecting and developing directors to support their own and their business activities
The new Branch Chairs will work as part of the Regional Committee and alongside teams of branch ambassadors to engage with and add value to members, whilst representing and amplifying the views and experiences of local directors within the IoD’s influential Policy Voice programme.
Steve Bennett, Chair of IoD North West, said: “The successful candidates will be figureheads for IoD members and directors across these four branches, providing fresh impetus to each of their memberships as the IoD continues to support directors and their businesses to recover and rebuild from the challenges posed by the pandemic.”
Interested candidates should send their CV and covering letter to email@example.com by 11 April. Interviews will take place in the following weeks dependent on the branch.
